Boss Suspenders LLC is a small company in the Northeast Kingdom located
in the town of Bloomfield, VT. Darlene Belknap owner and proprietor has
been in business for 17 years and takes great pride in the manufacturing
and distributing of her product. We buy components that are manufactured
in the U.S. and are of the highest quality. The working man, sportsmen
and anyone desiring a quality product are our customer base.
About our name, "Walking Boss" is a word that was used and still is today to some degree. It means a man who cruises the woods
and oversees the duties of the day to day work of the crews. Our Great Grandfather Phonse Roby was a famous
"Walking Boss" for the Connecticut Valley Lumber Co. in the
late 1800's and early 1900's. Our logo was taken from a photo of him at the
Depot Camp in Pittsburg, N.H., Indian Stream. We thought it only right to
continue his legendary reputation and to show some of the real history of our area. We thank you for using our products and appreciate your business. We are always open for any suggestions that our customers may have so please feel free to contact us.
